What if dolls are actually living souls encaged by silent shells? I turn these externally lifeless models into internally living objects by capturing their subtle expressions as if they could talk with their gem-like eyes.

No matter it’s the antique bisque doll or the modern mass-manufatured resin doll, people living in different eras used sculpture arts to freeze their inspirations and aesthetics about the ideal form of beautiful human beings. Like how living creatures are preserved in ambers, these old or new dolls preserve people’s ideal images of themselves. Time would move forward and no one’s appearance stays the same, but these dolls people create get to exist as an immortal portray of people’s inner world.
